Chapter 2 TECHNICAL STUDY INTRODUCTION This chapter's goal is to go over the various technical areas of the feasibility study. It provides plans and ideas for the production process, manufacturing process, raw material sources, production schedule, production costs, and the utilities required to maintain the smooth operation of the company, as well as the machinery and equipment required to produce the product and furniture required for our office. It shows the number of raw materials, our costing, and the total price of raw materials. Table 11: Procedure How to Make Banana Muffins: Preheat the oven and place liners Don’t overbake. Test for doneness by inserting a toothpick into the center after 25 minutes and continue baking only if you see wet batter on the toothpick. In a bowl add milk+vinegar, white sugar, brown sugar, oil, then mix in lightly beaten eggs. Use very ripe or overripe bananas. Underripe bananas will be difficult to mash and won’t incorporate into the batter well. Scoop batter into lined muffin tin, sprinkle with chocolate chips and bake. This flow chart is the process method of making banana muffins. Add mashed bananas and vanilla. Whisk together all purpose flour, cinnamon, baking powder, baking soda and salt then mix into batter. Fold in 3/4 cup chocolate chips. Table 14: Cleaning Materials This table shows cleaning materials that will be needed and used for cleaning after baking the banana muffin. Dishwashing liquid worth 229 pesos per bottle and a sponge worth 49 pesos per pack and the last one is the towel worth 25pesos per pcs a total of 100 pesos, and all of this is can be bought at shopee. Table 15: Furniture This table shows things that will be needed and used for business, like a chair worth 600 pesos and a table worth 1,090 pesos, and the last one is the cupcake display stand worth 103 pesos. All of this can be bought at a shopee. Table 16: Office Supplies This table shows the office supplies that will be needed in our business office. The table includes the quantity, price per pack, and the supplier of our product. Table 17: Office Equipment This table shows things that will be needed because they are included when setting up a business. This equipment is used for the whole year because it will not break because all of it is steel. The water that would be supplied by Santa Maria Water District, it would cost 800 pesos per month. For electricity that would be supplied by Meralco, it would cost 2,000 pesos per month, and lastly, for the monthly rent, it would cost 4,000 per month. To sum it up, the total yearly utility expense would be 99,600 pesos.
