Pre-lesson: Pupils play Hot Seat. A pupil is called in front
and asked to pick a card. Everyone else must ask
questions.
Complementary: 2.1 Communicate simple information
intelligibly.
Lesson delivery:
1. A few activities based on textbook page 37 are written
on the board.
2. Pupils pick the ones they know and share with their
partners on what always, sometimes and never do.
3. Pupils are asked what the kids in the pictures are doing.
4. Pupils in pairs decide who is Sue and Bob. Pupils are
explained that they are going to listen to track 56.
5. They are going to fill in the task sheet page 23 in Year 3
Supplementary Worksheets Module.
6. Pupils listen and exchange information with their
partners.
Post lesson: Teacher checks pupils’ spelling in the task
sheet.

4. Pupils move towards the cards according to their birth
months.
5. Pupils then copy the table in page 37 of textbook.
Teacher can ask pupils to add the rows in the table.
6. Pupils practise the sentences before they interview the
friends.

2. Pupils are asked about whether they can find these
things in Malaysia.
3. Texts from textbook page 38 are pasted around the
class.
4. Pupils complete the exercise in page 24 in the Year 3
Supplementary Worksheets Module.
5. Pupils start the game and take turns to complete the
activity. Pupils must answer whether the statement is true /
false.
Post-lesson: Pupils’ answers are checked as a whole class.
