How To Use DTCC & Case Studies Add this to your analysis when it makes sense. It’s not an everyday confluence and it shouldn’t be an only reason for a trade. You’ll add DTCC after you’ve done all your Intraday Analysis. This tool “CAN” line up with your analysis but it does not need to. You can use DTCC for bias, deviations and pattern recognizing. Since it is the "Submission Window" for the next settlement day and settlement starts at 7am, that means we don't notice the effect of DTCC EST until 7am. If DTCC is bearish (red arrow), then expect bullish move in New York Open at 7am (green arrow). If DTCC is bullish (green arrow), then expect bearish move in New York Open at 7am (red arrow). THIS is only valid IF you can couple the turning points at 7am with higher timeframe PD Arrays, Deviations, etc. Basically, when DTCC is bearish, it indicates bullish close for the next day and vice versa. It's especially for NYO Reversal Profiles. If DTCC is bearish and we trade lower after midnight into NYO + Discount PD Array and Flout (or other) deviations, then you can expect a NYO Reversal at least back to Midnight Opening Price and you can buy every Propulsion Block and vice versa. If DTCC is bearish and we move higher into a Premium Array in NYO, then and only then we can take the DTCC Pattern an apply it into NYO into London Close time window and we can take a trade but not till below midnight opening price because we expect a bullish close and vice versa. So, when DTCC pattern is a move higher from opening price at 8pm, then lower and takes out a low in the DTCC range, then we can expect the same in NYO into London Close. Higher into NYO Reversal at Premium Array, then lower and liquidity draw in late NYO or London Close and vice versa. DTCC can also be Support or Resistance in London Open Killzone. If DTCC is bullish, you expect a down close day. London Open or even before LO, price should then go below the DTCC range, then it can respect the DTCC range as resistance and vice versa. DTCC for Bias: look for bearish or bullish close in that DTCC time window. For bias, we do not need wicks. Just look at the open at 8pm and close at 8:45pm on 5m timeframe. DTCC for deviations: couple it with Asia / CBDR / Flout Deviations, HTF PDAs, Offset Accumulation / Distribution, Daily Profiles, Killzone Profiles, etc. The theory DTCC has displacement, almost every single time. Watch the candles just before DTCC and you'll notice it's consolidation into Expansion. DTCC is the Expansion and Bias for the next day. So why an Expansion in that time window? CLS Group has their cash flow submission window for NEXT settlement day from 8pm-8:45pm. And why is it a down close DTCC for a bullish day and an up close DTCC for a bearish day? DTCC can react like a Breaker or Mitigation Block. It is the submission for the next day so banks can mitigate positions on that time & price window on the next day to create explosive moves and end the day on the right side. Since DTCC is a displacement most of the time, I don’t like to use it as deviation targets to get the high or low of the day. Case Study #1 EURUSD September 8th, 2021 - Price Action with DTCC (NY Time Window). DTCC was an up move, so we can expect a down day (at least Bearish London Open). London Open then formed OTE into Buyside Liquidity, still above Asia Low and above Midnight Opening Price, then selloff. Projection from London Swing lines up with 2.62 Boomstick, 4H +OB, Daily +Breaker, DTCC -5.5 Projection and -3.5 Asia Projection. Low of the Day formed at 1.18022. Case Study #2 EURUSD September 9th, 2021 - Price Action with DTCC (NY Time Window). DTCC was bearish, so we can expect bullish day (at least Bullish London Open). Price ran Asia Lows, formed OTE in London Open (below MOP), ran Asia Highs and into News, then we had a selloff from New York Open (NY Reversal) into London Close, formed Low of the Day in London Close. DTCC -1.5 was not to the pip, but we had higher timeframe PD Array as context - the 15m +OB MSH with Stop Run and Asia Range -0.5 Deviation. Case Study #3 EURUSD September 14th, 2021 - Price Action with DTCC (NY Time Window). DTCC is bearish, expect bullish day. We traded higher in London Open, DTCC acted as Support, then we traded through MOP in London Lunch into New York Open, created SMT Divergence with DXY, 1H OTE from Change of State, ZTC and other Deviations, 30m +OB, MSB on 5m, return to FVG and OTE, then higher at news. If you know that Day must close bullish, because of bearish DTCC, and we are below Midnight Opening Price in New York, then you can expect Reversal.
