A persuasive essay is a type of opinion writing.

Your opinion is what you think, feel, or believe about something.

TOPIC: What is wrong with the education system?
1.
Focus on only one thing in the education system that you think is wrong/problematic.
2.
Offer two ways to resolve the problem that you identified.

Each body paragraph should focus on one way to resolve the problem.
3.
Have one introduction, two body, and one conclusion paragraph.
4.
The thesis statement must be explicit in the introduction paragraph and rephrased in the conclusion paragraph.

audience hooked on your writing.

Hook your reader by asking them a question and

After the hook, tell the reader exactly what you
want and make sure you say it nicely.
