stakeholders to ensure quality basic education;
2. To create a network of community-based organizations to get
total community commitment for collaborative programs and
projects, and
3. To promote collaboration and resiliency in basic education.

NARRATIVE REPORT
INTRODUCTION/RATIONALE
As stated from DepEd Memorandum no. 62, s. 2022, entitled 2022
Brigada Eskwela Implementing Guidelines, the Brigada Eskwela Program
shall be implemented for the preparation for the opening of classes School
Year 2022-2023. It aims to bring together all education stakeholders to join
and share their time, effort and resources to prepare the public school
facilities. This is an act of volunteerism and bayanihan which is conducted
every year in different public schools.
This year, the theme is Brigada Eskwela: Tugon sa Hamon ng Ligtas na
Balik-Aral. It involves the collective efforts of internal and external
stakeholders to address learning gaps and social issues and to create a safe
learning environment for the learners, teaching and nonteaching personnel,
and community for the achievement of quality basic education.

The Brigada Eskwela program has different components. Brigada
Eskwela sa Paghahanda has been implemented from August 1 to 26, 2022.
The Brigada Eskwela Plus and the Brigada Pagbasa will be implemented
throughout the year.
The San Gregorio Elementary School Kick-Off program serves as an
avenue to invite and encourage internal and external stakeholders to
participate and to lend a hand in the preparation for the opening of the school
year 2022-2023. Moreover, the program helps the school to increase partners
from the community in implementing various projects and programs to ensure
quality education.
NARRATION OF ACCOMPLISHMENT
The Kick-Off program started by gathering all the participants in the
school quadrangle and prepared for the motorcade. The motorcade was joined
by various stakeholders including members from the Local Government Unit
and Non-Government Organizations. Some of the participants were members
of Municipal PNP, Municpal BFP, Municipal DRRM, Philippine Navy, Barangay
Councils of San Gregorio, Luna, Antipolo, and Burgos. Members of Solid #1
KIF-ACO, KABAYAN, KABALIKAT, Brave Riders Club, Kaligkasan, Women’s
Club, KKDAT, Tau Gamma Phi-San Antonio, Samahang Ilokano (SI)-San
Antonio and from the General PTA headed by Ms. Ma. Leonarda T. Fong also
joined the motorcade.
After the around the town motorcade, the Brigada Eskwela Kick-Off
Program was opened by introducing all the organizations and participants
who were present. Mrs. Jovelyn R. Fababier, Principal II, gave her opening
remarks as well as the welcome address.
The Heads of various organizations and branches of LGUs were invited
to become partners of the school. At the same moment, they gave their speech
as they accept the responsibilities of being partners of the school in various
programs and projects. The signing of Memorandum of Agreement and
commitment wall were the highlights of the program.
Before the program ended, the schedule and assignments of the
participants of the week-long Brigada Eskwela was announced.
The program was ended by thanking and acknowledging all the
participants.
