Windows 7 / Windows Server 2008 R2: Ungültige Zertifikatsvalidierung
Die neuen, zur Signierung verwendeten Zertifikate werden auf den Betriebssystemen Windows 7 und
Windows Server 2008 R2 möglicherweise nicht validiert.
Wenn Sie keine Möglichkeit haben, den Zertifikatspeicher online zu aktualisieren, wird gegebenenfalls die Signatur
der Produktdateien als ungültig angezeigt.
Aktualisieren Sie in diesem Fall auf den Offline-Systemen die von Microsoft bereitgestellten Root Zertifikate

WebNavigator-Server: Sichere Verbindung über HTTPS verwenden
Um die Sicherheit Ihrer Kommunikation zu erhöhen, konfigurieren Sie den WebNavigator-Server so, dass nur
HTTPS-Verbindungen unterstützt werden. Dafür benötigen Sie ein digitales Zertifikat für Ihren WebNavigator-Server.

Websiteübergreifende Anforderungsfälschung beim WebNavigator vermeiden (Cross Site Request Forgery)
Die websiteübergreifende Anforderungsfälschung ähnelt der Schwachstelle durch siteübergreifendes Skripting
(XSS, Cross Site Scripting).
Der Angriff wird ausgelöst, wenn ein authentifizierter Benutzer auf einen bösartigen Link klickt.
Diese Schwachstelle existiert auch, wenn Skripting im Browser deaktiviert ist.
Siemens empfiehlt:

Arbeiten Sie mit keinen anderen Anwendungen oder Diensten, die mit dem Internet zu tun haben.
•
Melden Sie sich ab, wenn Sie den WebNavigator nicht mehr benötigen.

Installation und Deinstallation
Einleitung
Lesen Sie diese Hinweise vor der Installation, da sie wichtige Informationen enthalten, die Sie für die Installation des Updates
benötigen.
Installation
Beenden Sie alle Applikationen vor dem Setup-Start, z. B. WinCC RT, MS Word usw.
Update-Installation in einem verteilten System
Installieren Sie das Update auf allen PCs, auf denen WinCC V7.4 SP1 installiert ist.
Wenn auf den Clients bzw. Servern unterschiedliche Update-Versionen installiert sind, ist keine Projektierungsänderung
im WinCC-Projekt möglich.
Update über Download-Datei
Wenn Ihnen das Update als selbstextrahierende Download-Datei vorliegt, dann entpacken Sie dieses Update nur
auf einem PC mit installiertem WinCC V7.4 SP1.
Wenn Sie dieses Update auf einem PC ohne installiertes WinCC benötigen, dann kopieren Sie das entpackte Update
auf diesen PC.
Entpacken Sie die EXE-Datei auf Ihre Festplatte und doppelklicken Sie auf die Datei Setup.exe.
WinCC Autostart deaktivieren
Wenn Sie die Funktion "WinCC-AutoStart" verwenden, deaktivieren Sie diese vor der Software-Aktualisierung.

"Start > SIMATIC > WinCC > Autostart"

Server:
"Start > SIMATIC > WinCC > Autostart" bzw.
"Start > SIMATIC > SIMATIC Net > PC-Station einstellen > Applikationen > Autostart"
Starten Sie nach dem Deaktivieren von WinCC Autostart den PC neu.
Installation durchführen
Das Setup-Programm führt Sie durch die gesamte Installation.
Nach der Installation ist abhängig von der Systemkonfiguration ein Neustart erforderlich.
Wird während des Setup, nachdem Sie die Bedingungen zur Lizenzvereinbarung akzeptiert haben, die Schaltfläche "Weiter"
nicht aktiv geschaltet, können Sie das Setup abbrechen. In diesem Fall wurde das Update schon auf dem PC installiert.
Somit ist keine Aktualisierung der installierten Komponenten notwendig.
Nachinstallation
Wenn Sie eine Nachinstallation von der Liefer-DVD durchgeführt haben, müssen Sie das Update erneut installieren.

Wenn Sie Optionen von der Liefer-DVD nachinstallieren, müssen Sie für diese Optionen das Update erneut installieren.
Installation des Update für WinCC/WebNavigator
Um dem WebNavigator Client die aktuelle Version der Plug-Ins zur Verfügung zu stellen, starten Sie nach der
Update-Installation auf dem WebNavigator Server den WinCC Web Configurator.
Update des Web-Client V6.x über Download
Wenn Sie für die Update-Installation auf einem Web-Client V6.x das Download vom Web-Server verwenden,
dann deinstallieren Sie zuerst den bestehenden Web-Client.
Wenn Sie den Web-Client nicht deinstalliert haben, zeigt das Setup-Programm eine entsprechende Meldung an.
ODK: Libraries und Headers
Die aktuellen Libraries und Headers für das Übersetzen von eigenen Anwendungen finden Sie im WinCC Update-Pfad unter

Bei Projekten mit Basic Process Control müssen Sie zur Aktualisierung der Daten den OS-Projekteditor durchlaufen lassen.

Gesten-Steuerung aktivieren und deaktivieren
Um Fehlbedienung auf Touch-Screens zu vermeiden, deaktivieren Sie die Gesten-Steuerung auf einer WinCC-Station:
1. Öffnen Sie im WinCC Explorer den Dialog "Eigenschaften Rechner".
2. Deaktivieren Sie auf der Registerkarte "Runtime" die folgende Option:
Gesten-Steuerung "Wischen" aktivieren
Die Einstellung gilt jeweils auf dem entsprechenden Rechner.
Dadurch können Sie die Gesten-Steuerung z. B. nur an bestimmten Bedienstationen deaktivieren.
Inkonsistente Zeitstempel bei der Prozesswertarchivierung
Der Zeitstempel eines archivierten Prozesswerts muss immer aktueller sein als der Zeitstempel des vorher archivierten
Prozesswerts.
Prozesswerte werden nur archiviert, wenn die interne chronologische Reihenfolge eingehalten wird.
Prozesswerte mit Zeitstempeln, die nicht der chronologischen Reihenfolge entsprechen, werden verworfen.
Inkonsistente Zeitstempel können z. B. auftreten, wenn die Zeiteinstellung des Systems geändert und die Uhrzeit
zurück gestellt wird.
Wenn inkonsistente Zeitstempel auftreten, löst das WinCC-Archivsystem für bis zu 5 aufeinander folgende,
nicht gespeicherte Prozesswerte folgende Aktionen aus:

Systemmeldung 1012302:
CA:@100%s@:Prozesswert verworfen - Zeitstempel ist älter als der bereits archivierte Wert (Datenverlust)
•
Eintrag in der Diagnosedatei "WinCC_Sys_XX.log"
Ein neuer Prozesswert wird erst dann archiviert, wenn der Zeitstempel aktueller ist als der des zuletzt archivierten
Prozesswerts.

Multi-VGA: Ein Windows-Fenster wird jeweils auf dem Bildschirm geöffnet,

Um einen OPC-UA-Node mit dem vollständigen Namen als OPC-UA-Variable zu importieren, gehen Sie folgendermaßen vor:
1. Legen Sie im Variablenhaushalt für den Kommunikationskanal "OPC UA WinCC Channel" eine neue Verbindung an.
2. Wählen Sie folgende Verbindungsparameter:

3. Wählen Sie im Kontextmenü der Verbindung den Eintrag "OPC Server durchsuchen".

Wenn Sie Bausteinnamen verwenden, die nur aus dem Bindestrich "-" bestehen oder mit dem Bindestrich enden,
gehen Sie folgendermaßen vor:

1. Öffnen Sie im WinCC-Projekt den OS-Projekteditor.
2. Aktivieren Sie auf der Registerkarte "Grunddaten" die Option "Konfiguration für Graphics Object Update Wizard aktualisieren".
3. Um den OS-Projekteditor durchlaufen zu lassen, klicken Sie auf "OK".
4. Öffnen Sie im Ordner "<Projektverzeichnis>\WScripts" die Konfigurationsdatei in einem Texteditor, z. B. Notepad.

Vorgehen: Skripte und Bilder konvertieren
1. Installieren Sie WinCC V7.4 SP1 Update 4 oder höher.
2. Öffnen Sie Ihr WinCC-Projekt im WinCC Explorer.
3. Wählen Sie im Menü den Eintrag "Extras > Projektdaten konvertieren".
4. Aktivieren Sie mindestens die folgenden Einträge:

Avoid cross-site request forgery for the WebNavigator (Cross Site Request Forgery)
Cross-site request forgery is similar to the vulnerability caused by cross-site scripting (XSS, Cross Site Scripting).
The attack is triggered when an authenticated user clicks on a malicious link. However, this vulnerability also works
if the user has disabled scripting in the browser.

Introduction
The installation notes contain important information which you require for installing the Update.
Please read these notes before you start the installation.
Installation
Exit all applications before you start the setup, for example WinCC-RT, MS-Word etc.
Installing the update in a distributed system
Install the update on all PCs where WinCC V7.4 SP1 is installed.
If different update versions are installed on the clients or servers, no configuration changes are possible in the WinCC project.
Update using download file
If the update is available as a self-extracting download file, then unpack this update only to a PC on which WinCC V7.4 SP1
is installed.
If you need this update on a PC without a WinCC installation, copy the unpacked update to this PC.
Unpack the EXE file to your hard disk and double-click the Setup.exe file.
Disabling WinCC autostart
If being used, you must disable the "WinCC Autostart" function before the software update.

Enabling and disabling gesture control
To prevent erroneous operator inputs on touch screens, disable the gesture control on a WinCC station:
1. Open the "Computer properties" dialog in WinCC Explorer.
2. Disable the following option in the "Runtime" tab:
Enable Gesture Control
The setting takes effect on the respective computer.
This allows you to disable the gesture control, for example, at specific operator stations only.
Inconsistent time stamps during process value archiving
The time stamp of an archived process value must always be more recent than the time stamp of the
previously archived process value.

Enhanced know-how protection
As of V7.4 SP1 Update 4, WinCC offers enhanced know-how protection for scripts and pictures.
To enable know-how protection, you must convert the scripts and pictures.
Procedure: Converting scripts and pictures
1. Install WinCC V7.4 SP1 Update 4 or higher.
2. Open your WinCC project in the WinCC Explorer.
3. Select the "Tools > Convert Project Data" menu command.
4. Activate at least the following entries:

C and VB project functions and actions
5. Select the language in which the WinCC project was created.
6. Confirm with "OK".
Result
The process pictures and scripts are converted and saved with enhanced know-how protection.
WinCC/WebUX: Flash picture in the status display
As of V7.4 SP1 Update 4, the Flash Picture is only displayed when flashing is activated.
To apply the change, you must convert the WebUX pictures that contain status displays.

If you perform the conversion for enhanced know-how protection, the WebUX pictures are also saved again.
Additional steps are not required.

If you want to convert only the WebUX pictures involved, execute the following steps.
Procedure: Converting WebUX pictures
1. Install WinCC V7.4 SP1 Update 4 or higher.

If you do not have the possibility to update the certificate store online, the signature of the product files may be shown
as invalid.
