Society is the group of people living together under the same rules and regulations. Society refers not just to a group of people but to complex pattern of the norms of interactions that arise among them. The three perspectives show the differences of the society. This explains how society influences people, and vice versa. Each perspective uniquely conceptualizes society, social forces, and human behavior Symbolic Interactionist Perspectives or symbolic interactionism is considering the symbols and details of everyday life what these symbols mean, and how people interact with each other. And according to Max Weber’s assertion that individuals act according to their interpretation of the meaning of their world. People attach meaning to symbols, and then they act according to their subjective interpretation of these symbols. Example of this is conversation, because conversation is an interaction of symbols between individuals who constantly interpret the world around them. For the conflict Perspectives, for me it’s the divided group that agrees to one objective. They set their own standards and regulations for themselves. The conflict perspective focuses on the negative, conflicted, and ever-changing nature of society. Unlike the functionalist who defend the status quo, they avoid the social change, and believe people cooperate to effect social orders. Unequal groups usually have conflicting values and agendas, causing them to compete against one another. The best way to describe our society right now is the functionalist Perspective. It serves that all in our society has a role in our community or in our individual growth and development. Each aspect of society is interdependent and contributes to society as whole. The government or state provides educations for the children of the family. Like the family, it serves a big responsibility to one another. Family is the one who needs to nurture the student or the person before it goes outside, they are the one who needs to be bind together and have a strong connection and interactions on how are we going to approach in the outside world. Our family is the foundation of our characters, our beliefs, our understanding. How are we going to influence our family members to be a good citizen in our society. Like for example, a grade school student fight with his or her classmates for us his or her family member we need to guide and educate our student to be more understanding and explain to them the pros and cons of what they do or what they done. Communication matters most because our children need to be guided, not only in their school.
