Top 10 Best Fr en ch
Rest au r an t s in Du bai
From artistically executed high-quality
food dishes to cozy patisseries and
bistros stuffed with generous French
comfort food. French food is a firm top
choice across the city, whether you're
eating good, soothing dishes like you're
in the snow-covered piles of the Alps or
getting into freshly caught fish on the
French Riviera. We've compiled a list of
the best French cafés in Dubai, ranging
from the elegant to the casual.
1. Ladurée
Laduree is a luxury bread kitchen and dessert producer
house founded in 1862 in France. It is one of the world's
most popular suppliers of the double-layer macaron, with
15,000 sold each day. The Dubai Mall is located in
Downtown Dubai, United Arab Emirates, and can be
reached at +971 4 339 8520.
2. Bistro Des Arts
This charming minimal Parisian bistro-style café is located on the
outskirts of Dubai Marina. Inside, the red and white tones make it
feel cosy, and when it's cool enough to sit outside on the porch,
you'll feel exactly like you're sitting outside a traditional French
bistro on a strange side street in Paris. They're currently offering
a late spring bargain menu with three courses for Dhs150.
Bistro Des Arts, Dubai Marina Promenade, Marina Mall Area,
Dhs150 for a three-course summer set menu served daily from 6
p.m. Tel: (04) 551 1576.
3. Café de Paris
The Cafe de Paris reflects the image of Paris, a place of
conviviality and gentle living where everyone finds their
place, and is a testament to the Parisian art of living that is
the envy of the world. It is part of a new generation of chic
and contemporary brasseries that provide excellent service
and a charming atmosphere!
Cafe de Paris, MAG 318 Residential Tower Downtown Business Bay, Dubai, United Arab Emirates. Tel:+971 50 751
2318. Mon – Sun: 08.00 am – 03:00 am
4. Bleu Blanc
Step through the bothered blue entryways of Bleu Blanc
into an incredibly stylish and modern eatery owned by
David Meyers, a LA-based chef. It's ideal for family meals or
a special social occasion, and the menu features simple yet
refined French farmhouse fare.
Bleu Blanc, Renaissance Downtown Hotel, Dubai, SaturdayThursday 7pm-12am, Friday 12.30pm-4pm, 7pm-12am. Tel:
(04) 512 5533.
5. Brasserie du Park
This blue and white café has an unmistakable sound of
copper and gold, giving it a modern Mediterranean vibe.
The menu is French, but there are influences from all over
Europe. Make your way to the nautical-themed Noepe bar
for a pre-supper drink.
Day by day, 6.30am to 11am, 12.30pm to 5pm, 7pm to
11pm, Brasserie Du Park, The Promenade, Park Hyatt
Dubai. Tel: (04) 602 1814.
6. Carine
Carine's menu is centred on the French Mediterranean,
another outstanding contribution from neighbourhood
gourmet specialist Izu Ani. Expect extravagant bites like
calamari, burrata, and moreish harissa prawns on the
menu. If you're in the mood for pasta, the lobster linguini is
a standout among the main courses. The floor-to-ceiling
windows flood the café with light, making it an ideal spot
for a daytime lunch or breakfast. The bread alone is worth
the trip. Carine, Emirates Golf Club, Dubai.
7. LPM Restaurant and Bar
LPM Restaurant and Bar, as an overall name, is the best
French café in Dubai and is frequently pressed. Staff are
friendly, table service is competent, and there's always a
lively buzz about the place - especially after work, when
Dubai's DIFC crowd comes in for drinks at the bar. We've
been singing the praises of the sheep cutlets for quite some
time, and they should be paired with rich, liberal
dauphinoise potatoes. All things considered, an acclaimed
name and the best French restaurant in Dubai.
8. Bistrot Bagatelle
If you enjoy a lively night out as well as modern French cuisine,
this is the place for you. Don't even think about arriving early to
this French restaurant on Dubai's Sheikh Zayed Road, as the
atmosphere only gets better as the night goes on. It's a
fantastic night out, with pumping music and a lively
atmosphere to accompany your dinner. But it's not just about
the party; the food at this Fairmont Dubai spot is equally
impressive, with classics like Burgundy snails with beef
pancetta, whole truffle roasted chicken, and a mouthwatering
lobster pasta dish.
9. La Cantine du Faubourg
This stylish French eatery in Dubai's Jumeirah Emirates Towers
hails from Paris and is ideal for a date or a group outing. The
food is excellent, and the atmosphere is lively and upbeat.
There's also a cool bar area, as well as an adorable open-air
patio. It's educational and entertaining all at the same time.
One of Dubai's top three French cafés.
Open Sunday-Wednesday early afternoon 2am, ThursdayFriday early afternoon 3am, and Saturday early afternoon 6pm,
8pm-2am. Sheik Zayed Road, Jumeirah Emirates Towers (04 352
7105).
10. Pierre’s Bistro & Bar
This French-fusion bistro by gourmet expert Pierre Gagnaire
boasts popular interiors, an inventive menu, and similarly
educated mixed drinks. It's a restaurant you won't forget in
a hurry, with a lovely, somewhat erratic design that will
make them see something else everywhere you look, from
rose-embellished dividers to pink flamingos.
Pierre's Bistro and Bar, Promenade Level, Dubai Festival
City; relax 5pm-2am; eatery 6.30pm-11.30pm; closed
Sundays. Tel: (04) 701 1199.
