A-330 CONVERSION COURSE INTRODUCTION This A-330 A/C training manual is the document that Jordan Aviation training and standards department will utilize to provide the related course of the A-330 A/C to those pilots selected by Jordan Aviation to operate its fleet of A-330s in their different capacities. The manual establishes the company training and standards objectives which must be met by the trainee pilot. The manual is an ever-changing document, which must be reviewed periodically to ensure that it fulfills its primary objectives and conforms to current requirements established by the Jordanian Civil Aviation Regulations (JCAR). Organization Chart & Position Description The format of the Jordan Aviation Training and Standards department is shown in the CARC approved Operation Manual Part D. Position descriptions including qualification experience required and duties and responsibilities for TRI/TRE and SFI who will be involved in conducting the contained training programs are also provided. The chain of command and communications have been defined and must be followed. The HOD holds the managers of theses sections responsible for the major work load assigned and they have authority to discharge their responsibilities under his leadership or his Deputy (Director Training and Standards), during his absence. Entry Requirement for the Courses Outlined in this manual The minimum entry requirements for each training program included in this manual should have been fulfilled by the trainee pilots as outlined in the Operation Manual Part D. Documentations Required A copy of this manual shall be provided to all B767 TRE, TRIs and trainee pilot. This document in conjunction with other relevant training material and manuals serve as the main legal reference of information needed during the course of training; also constitutes the company requirement for each training program. The following documents must be in the possession of the trainee pilot to assist him and for easy access of all relevant information. 1. 2. 3. 4. 5. 6. This section explains the training progress, evaluation and checking criteria in details, as well as special notes to instructors. TRAINING AND PROGRESS EVALUATION CRITERIA: Unsatisfactory, Below Standard, Standard, above standards and W/I are used for training and progress evaluation of the trainee pilot during his training phases. Guidelines for the criteria are as follows: Unsatisfactory: Has the overall performance characteristics in knowledge, judgment and skill as follow: (a) Knowledge / Incorrect and/ or Incomplete (b) Judgment / Incorrect and / or untimely with an unacceptable level of safety and / or airmanship. (c) Skill / Generally coarse aircraft handling with over controlling and / or inability to complete any required maneuvers. Incorrect and / or untimely completion of duties. Below Standard: Insufficient Progress to meet the company standards Standard: Meets company standards Above Standard: The level of progress achieved during training is higher than required standards. W/I – WAIVED / INCOMPLETE (a) WAIVED – A requirement not applicable. (b) INCOMPLETE – Not completed SESSION PROFILES Grades for session profiles are as follows: 1. Unsatisfactory 2. Below standards 3. Standards 4. Above standards IF any of the exercises (events) grade is below standard (2 or 1), the corresponding box (TECH/CRM) must be checked as appropriate: Issue No. : 01 Rev.
