RESIDENTS TO TAKE ADVANTAGE OF
COOLING FACILITIES
City of Rochester
News Release
(Saturday, July 23, 2022) – With temperatures
forecasted to surpass 90 degrees today and tomorrow,
the City of Rochester is urging residents to take
advantage of City facilities stay cool this weekend.
Some City R-Centers, Libraries, and Durand Beach are
open on Saturdays and all Spray Parks are open sevendays a week.
Saturday R-Centers with air conditioning:
• The Honorable Willie Walker Lightfoot R-Center for
Equity & Justice, 271 Flint St., 9:30 a.m.–4:30 p.m.,
Saturdays
• Trenton and Pamela Jackson R-Center, 435 N. Clinton
Ave. 9:30 a.m.–4:30 p.m., Saturdays
• David F. Gantt, 700 North St., 9:30 a.m.–4:30 p.m.,
Saturdays
• Thomas P. Ryan, 530 Webster Ave., 9:30 a.m.–4:30
p.m., Saturdays
