Masseter – cheek muscle
Sternomastoid – V shapes muscle at base of neck
Sternohyoid – linear muscle on neck

Digastric – press jaw, beneath mandible, oblique muscle

Clavotrapezius – pulls limb backward, back of neck
Acromiotrapezius – above scapula, below clavotrapezius
Spinotrapezius – from last thoracic spines, runs obliquely
Latissimus dorsi – oblique on sides
Splenius – covers back of neck (deep)
Rhomboideus / rhomboideus capitis – up to the neck, below splenius
Levator scapulae ventralis – slender muscle beneath incised wing
Cleidomastoid – deflected levator scapulae ventralis, covered by clavotrapezius (cut)
Pectoantibranchialis – first pectoral
Pectoralis major – partially covered by pectoantibranchialis, which is above it
Pectoralis minor – below pectoralis major (brownish)
Xiphihumeralis – from xiphisternum to humerus (whitish)
Serratus ventralis – fan shaped muscle
Scalenes – muscles near pecs next to serratus, muscles opposite direction
Supraspinatus – supraspinus fossa
Infraspinatus – below/next to supraspinatus
Subscapularis – under scapula
Teres major – posterior, next to infraspinatus
Spinodeltoid – next to suprascapularis, triangle
Acromiodeltoid – above spinodeltoid, whitish
Triceps brachii (long) – posterior portion of upper arm, first muscle from below
Triceps brachii (lateral) – above long head
Triceps brachii (medial) – covered by lateral head (deflect)
Brachialis – anterior portion of upper arm above lateral head
Clavobrachialis – continuation of clavotrapezius to brachium, flaplike
Biceps brachii – anterior, below clavobrachialis
Epitrochlearis – thin muscle, flap, slight can cover biceps brachii
Extensor carpi ulnaris – posterior muscle from ulna, elbow, lateral to ulna
Extensor digitorum lateralis – posterior, next to extensor carpi ulnaris
Extensor digitorum communis – posterior, next to extensor digitorum lateralis
Extensor carpi radialis – upper portion, next to extensor digitorum communis posterior/anterior
Brachioradialis – slender flap muscle attached to extensor carpi radialis, continue from clavobra
Flexor carpi radialis – deep, medial side, near extensor carpi radialis
Pronator teres – triangular muscle next to flexor carpi radialis
Palmaris longus – large muscle superficial next to pronator teres
Flexor profundus digitorum – covered by palmaris longus,
Flexor carpi ulnaris – bottom, next to flexor carpi ulnaris

Gracilis – posterior medial side of thigh, covers semimembranosus, semitendinosus
Semimembranosus – covered by gracilis
Semitendinosus – under semimembranosus
Adductor magnus – below vastus medialis (deflect) triangular
Adductor longus – slender muscle, next to magnus
Tibialis anterior – anterior portion
Peroneus – covered by tibialis anterior (deflect)
Extensor digitorum longus – behind peroneus
Soleu – small muscle sharing a common insertion with gastrocnemius (deflect gastrocnemius)
Gastrocnemius – superficially next to tibialis anterior
Plantaris – anterior side of tibialis anterior
Tibialis posterior - under tibialis anterior
Flexor digitorum longus – below tibialis anterior (deflect)
Adductor femoris – large muscle above semimembranosus
