Day Timing Sequence Learning Experience EXPECTED LEARNING: Ss will identify the possessive adjectives by completing sentences and associating belongings. M O N D A Y 15 min 1/4 hr. 10 min Greetings and routine 10 min Warm up 20 min Presentation T will show a video where Ss will complete the sentences using the possessive adjectives. After that, T will show some flashcards to remind the possessive adjectives. 30 min Practice and production T will show a picture and Ss will have 2/3 minutes to write a sentences about it. E, “This is my bag” “This is her book” depending on the picture. Ss will complete a worksheet using the possessive adjectives. We will play a game using the possessive adjectives. Ss will close their eyes and the T will take a picture of an object or a part of the body such as hands, ears, hands or hair. Ss will look at the photo and guess whose “object” is it. They will use the structure. “It’s sophie’s bag, it is her bag”. They will have to say something they like to do or their favorite part off the weekend. Pick some volunteers and let them share. Presentation Let’s talk about the environment. First, ask Ss to answer the questions “How do you take care of the planet? Let them share their answers. Play a video and have Ss identify the problems we are facing nowadays with the environment and the pollution. Ss will answer what they saw and the video and what they think about it. Then, its time to find solutions! Metacognition Vocabulary Practice and production Have Ss talk about what they think its happening around the world with the environment and talk about what solutions they come up with. Have Ss write on their notebooks three solutions they found. Ss will complete a worksheet about reduce, reuse and recycling. E, Where is the book? The book is under the bed. Visual discrimination 30 min Practice and production Ss will complete the worksheet using the prepositions of place. They will follow the instructions and draw the object in the right place. Check the answers together, have some Ss read the answers out loud. We will play a game together to use prepositions. The game is called “the ghost”. T will move some things around and put them in rare places. Ss will write sentences of the objects that were moved. T will do some movement and have students follow along to relax, concentrate and connect with their bodies. T will check the date and have Ss say the day, the month and the year. Vocabulary 10 min Warm up T will play the video and Ss will play “Say the color not the word”. Ss will say the color instead of reading the word. Visual discrimination 15 min Presentation T will share the “Universe quiz”. T will divide the class in two teams and have them answer questions related to the universe and the solar system. 30 min Practice and production Ss will complete the worksheet using the vocabulary and information about the universe. T will provide Ss with 5 words from the vocabulary and ask Ss to write the words on their notebooks and draw the vocabulary as well. 10 min Wrap up and Goodbye ¼ of house by pastoral.
