Summary This feature decreases the CE cost for 2 ms E-DCH RL to 2 CE at the initial setup, and when the user is granted a single HARQ process. The feature brings the following benefits: — Reduced CE cost for EUL 2 ms. — A higher number of EUL 2 ms devices to be connected simultaneously for a given amount of available CE. — Less CE consumption for the same number of EUL 2 ms devices. — More room for higher bit rates and better end user experience. The feature is supported on Baseband and DU Radio Nodes. EUL single HARQ Process Scheduling (FAJ 121 1443) Prerequisite The EUL single HARQ Process Scheduling feature must be activated. Improved Channel Element Ladder for E-DCH (FAJ 121 1334) Prerequisite The Improved Channel Element Ladder for E-DCH feature must be activated. Interference Suppression (FAJ 121 1714) Related When the Interference Suppression feature is enabled, Interference Suppression is allocated for E-DCH radio links with one HARQ grant as far as possible. Capacity and Performance With the feature, more users are allowed in the RN. It is also possible to setup 64 2-ms E-DCH users in one RXM and 256 2ms TTI Radio Links in DUW30. Interfaces No impact is expected from this feature.
