Objective: Students will produce the Morning/Afternoon Announcements for 5 days without the teacher assistants and video using the skills that they have learned class. Students will use multiple camera shots to communicate to the viewing audience. Students will trouble shoot any problem that will arise. Project Outline: Students in groups (4 to 5 people) will create a 5 minute (minimum) . Students will be responsible for created the power point script/teleprompter. Groups will turn on all equipment. Students will make sure lighting is correct. Cameras are white balanced and all screen graphics are turned off. Students will do the properAudio (mic) and Video (computer) checks. 2 Students will read and anchor the announcements 1 Students will Direct. 1 to 2 Student (s) will run audio and computer 1 Student will be floor manager/director Once the video project is complete, the individual student will critique their own work and suggest any correction that they would make to improve the video. If time permits they will be given the opportunity to do so. Methods of Assessment Announcements must be on in the building at the scheduled time 8:05 and 1:55 Announcements will not have any visual or audio problems Announcements meet the allotted 5 minute time window.
