Login (ssh) eNodeB and Ping/Trace of M,U and C Plane
1.
Login to EnodeB with Mplane IP from chrome.
2.
Go to procedures- Service account SSH and enable SSH.

Go to configuration - configuration management --parameter Editor.
4.
Search for “systemAcctPermEnable” parameter in search tab.

5.
Change systemAcctPermEnable parameter to false from true and validate and
activate.
M-Plane IP Ping and traceroute
ONM IP directly from OSS ssh :

C and U-Plane IP Ping and traceroute
1. Identify C Plane and U Plane source IP from site end.
Note: Destination IP for C plane is MME IP and for U plane is SGW IP.
2. Destination IP for C plane is MME IP and U-Plane is SGW IPs.


3. C and U- Plane IP ping and traceroute directly from OSS ssh :
 login (ssh) eNodeB with toor4nsn user– ssh toor4nsn@M-PlaneIP
 Put Password : oZPS0POrRieRtu
For Example M plane IP for above site is : 100.85.242.157so ssh toor4nsn@100.85.242.157
So for above Site details are below:
M-Plane IP = 100.85.242.157
User Plane Source IP-100.85.91.157, SGW IP - 203.88.1.50/203.88.3.14/203.88.1.59 etc
Control Plane Source IP- 100.85.27.157, MME IP - 203.88.10.133/203.88.10.131 etc
For User plane Ping and trace:
ping -I 100.85.91.157 203.88.1.50 -s 1500 -c 5
traceroute -s 100.85.91.157 203.88.1.50
C2 – Vodafone Idea Internal
For Control plane Ping and trace:
ping -I 100.85.27.157 203.88.10.133 -s 1500 -c 5
traceroute -s 100.85.27.157 203.88.10.133
4. C and U- Plane IP ping and traceroute via site login:

Open RDP- seacrh Putty and login with M plane IP with SSH.

1. Login with given user name and password.

For User plane Ping and trace:
ping -I 100.85.91.157 203.88.1.50 -s 1500 -c 5
traceroute -s 100.85.91.157 203.88.1.50
