Current issue overview
› After integrating the BB5212 in the network with 2G 1800
as MSMM with the DUG we face issue in the 2G “RFperformance” and “RUS re-starting” also same issue faced
in the BB5212
› The solution was to have the site synchronized over NGS
feature.
› We faced some limitations due to complex site
configurations which is presented in the below slides.
› Issue resolved after making the DUW as NGS master.

RUS01 case
› First DUG: Master DUG DBB 1201 with 2/2/2 900 2 sec c 1800 one RUS, node
group priority=3 and all ports defined, SEC C only one RUS in this DUG and
the other RUS will be integrated in DUG3 for SEC C , we did this to free up on
port for IDL sync as this DUG became master.
› Second DUG: slave DUG IDL2 synchronized DBB 1101 4/4/4 900, node group
priority=0 “Disabled”.
› Third DUG: slave DUG IDL2 synchronized DBB 1101 with 2+2/2+2/2 1800

integrated here now.
› IDL connection: first DUG port E to second DUG port F, first DUG port F to

NGS solution MIX RUS with RRUS 3 DUG
case
› It was difficult case to troubleshoot as the combination of RBB and DBB was
limited during the implementation.
› To have NGS path to the Baseband we must follow the previous diagram for
the mentioned case (RRUS 1800 +RUS 900) and three DUG
› The availability of the 3 DUG’s will make flexibility t select the required RBB
and DBB combinations.
› As from the next case we have limitations in RBB and DBB combination which
prevent us to integrate the site successfully.
