Exercise 2
Problem description
Through operation of the push button on the actuating valve, metal
stampings lying in random positions are sorted out and transferred to a
second conveyor belt. The forward motion of the piston rod of a singleacting cylinder (1A) takes t = 0.4 seconds. When the push button is released, the piston rod travels to the retracted end position. A pressure
gauge is fitted before and after the one-way flow control valve.
