(15 minutes) Individual: The students are going to create an essay describing the roles of ICT in your daily living. Sample Answer: ICT plays an important role in every aspect of my life, which causes me and our culture to grow. ICT has a beneficial and detrimental effect on my everyday life. It helps enhance my living standards since it can be used as a platform for learning and education, as mass media for promoting and campaigning on realistic and important topics such as health and social topics. Development-oriented approach believes in progress in ICT, has profoundly and radically changed the methods and also the strategies and educational objectives. Advantages can be drawn and seen but disadvantages aren’t exempted. Examples of the advantageous factors modified by ICT in my daily life are; First, socializing, it allows me to communicate and socialise with people. Second, easy to access information. Third, education - Modern means of learning, e.g. multi-media immersive and virtual reality. Lastly, Free access of sharing like photo, video, and message or more likely entertainment. And examples of detrimental aspects are; Poor physical activity, significantly decreased contact with people, misguided or fake information and news, and high experience of interaction with scammers and cyberbully but all in all it’s a half-half experience. To sum up, ICT develops to make my life simpler, but I still leave my life's unique experiences. I use ICT anytime and as a medium note to myself, I will still use my etiquette for it. I may use it or it may help me a lot that even some parts of my daily living have changed, still I never want ICT to consider taking out my own life everytime I use it.
