Students will be responsible for keeping track of a personal finance and
expense journal over the course of the school year. This journal will require several
things to start and will grow over the course.
1. Your name (First, Last)
2. A column labeled “Gross Pay”
3. A column labeled “Taxes”
4. A column labeled “Net Pay”
5. A column labeled “Expenses”
6. A column labeled “Savings”
7. A column labeled “Total Earnings”
This expense journal can be created on paper, word, excel, or any other medium
that you would prefer to use. Be sure to include all the columns listed above and
remember that it will grow over the course of the school year.
