Suggestions for Use
These cards can be used to introduce the three dimensions of health.
Relevant Standards:
National Health Education Standard 6 (Students will assess personal health practices.)
Self Awareness in the CASEL 5 (The capacity to recognize one’s strengths and limitations).
As a Preset Activity
As A Self Assessment
Describe the dimensions of health. In
groups, pairs or individually sort the
cards into three piles: physical health,
social health & mental health.
Have the students use the cards to identify
their strengths and weaknesses in each
dimension of wellness. They can record
their work on the handout provided.
As a Digital Assignment in Google Classroom

you can share with your students.
