The Banton cloth is the earliest known warp ikat (tie-resist dyeing) textile in Southeast Asia. Estimated
to be 400 years old, the burial cloth was found in a wooden coffin that also contained blue and white
ceramics in Banton Island, Romblon.

artifacts is also reflection of people ideas, beliefs, and culture.

Hatching – drawing a series of thin lines in the same direction
Crosshatching – drawing lines that crisscross each other
Blending – smoothly drawing dark values little by little by pressuring on the drawing medium
Stippling – creating values with a dot pattern.
