PROCEDURE:
To create a facebook page:
1. Click the drop-down arrow on the toolbar, then select Create Page.
2. Choose either Business or Brand or Community or Public Figure as
your Page category.
3. Enter a Page Name and Category, then click Continue.
MECHANICS:
1. Add a cover photo. The ideal cover photo size is 820px wide by 426 px tall.
2. Choose a short name for the page because it will also be the page
URL. For example, the URL is
https://www.facebook.com/SongbirdBakeryRaleigh.
3. Write a description to tell people what the facebook page is about in more
details. You have up to 3,000 characters for your facebook page description.
4. Click Add a Button under your cover photo to set up a call to action like
“Shop” or “Contact Us
5. Create your first post. Before you start inviting people to like the Facebook
Page for your business page, you should post some valuable content. You
can create your own posts, or share relevant content. You could also create
a specific type of post, like an event or offer—just click one of the options in
the Create box at the top of your page.
6. Invite an audience. Start by inviting your existing Facebook friends to like your
Page. To do so, just scroll down to the bottom of the Set Your Page up for
Success box and expand the section called Introduce Your Page.
