Visualization #6: Decision Trees
(As the leaf label names were extremely long, I only show the reports above, but the full label names can be located at the end of the
visualization)
In this decision tree I excluded one identifier variable and two predictor variables. The identifier variable
that I excluded was the original row number, and the two predictor variables that I excluded were
college major and favorite phone app as these variables had 144 and 99 levels respectively. Because of
the many levels they would have acted as identifier variables and were therefore excluded. Based on
this decision tree, students believe something other than creationism and have stayed awake for a time
period of greater than or equal to 58 hours are the most likely to be born in Tennessee. Out of a total of
14 students who fit into these two categories 13 of them, or 90.7%, were born in Tennessee.
