Team notebooks (hard copy or electronic) are created for documentation of work. Teams have identified roles with responsibilities to support the team’s work around academic interventions and standards-based interdisciplinary instructional planning. Teams have created SMART goals that are aligned to the school’s Vision and Mission and/or overarching goals. Teams have created professional working norms that identify the behaviors in which all team members commit to following to ensure a positive and productive working environment. Teams have a representative, if not the team facilitator, on the Campus Improvement Team. Team notes are posted or emailed out with action plans immediately after each team meeting. A continuous improvement plan is put in to place to constantly assess “what is working to increase student achievement. Students and parents are aware that they are on a team working with a specific group of teachers for the purpose of responsive academic interventions and making interdisciplinary connections among all content areas.
