Susie, me and shopping Believe it or not – shopping is my life! I love shopping. Every weekend I go to a shopping mall with my friend Susie and we spend a lot of time there – usually four hours! We always have a cup of hot chocolate in a small café, and sit and relax for an hour or two. Then we go to Denim & Fashion, our favourite clothes shop – it has got great clothes. Unfortunately we never stop at the High Heel shoe shop because the shoes are very expensive and we haven’t got much money. We sometimes go to Music World to look at new CDs or DVDs. I like Dido, an English singer and Susie loves Marcus Miller, a guitarist. We don’t often buy any CDs but we like listening to them in the shop. When we are hungry, we go to a fast food restaurant to have a burger and a cola. It’s not very healthy but it’s a nice place to sit and there are lots of plants in the restaurant. Next to the restaurant, there is a baker’s with delicious cakes. We sometimes buy a chocolate snack there. Sometimes we go to the cinema to see a film when we finish shopping. We love hanging out in our shopping mall! PHOTOCOPIABLE © 2010 Pearson Longman ELT 4 Name ......................................................................................................
