Reviewing previous lesson or presenting the new lesson B. Establishing a purpose for the lesson C. Presenting examples/instances of the new lesson D. Discussing new concepts and practicing new skills #1 E. Discussing new concepts and practicing new skills #2 Orientation about the course. Ask the learners to stand up, stretch and dance a TikTok dance with me. After that, I will ask them what “dance” meant for them? And ask them reasons why people dance? Ask the learners about the different kind of dances they know about? The simple dance we did will serve as the warm-up exercise for the Fitness test we will conduct before discussing the first lesson on this course. Introduce what Fitness Test is and ask them to answer a self-assessment regarding their physical activities. Conduct the Fitness Test comprised of the following: 3-Minutes Step Test Push-up - Basic Plank Zipper Test Sit and Reach Body Mass Index. F. Developing mastery (Leads to Formative Assessment) G. Finding practical applications of concepts and skills in daily living H. Making generalizations and abstractions about the lesson. I. Evaluating learning J. Additional activities for application or remediation V. REMARKS Discuss what Body Mass Index (BMI) is and teach them on how to compute their own BMI. Based on the measurements collected from the Fitness test, ask them to compute for their own BMI and explain what it means. Discuss the importance of knowing your body well. Let the students summarize what happened during the first meeting and what they have learned. Oral Questioning Paper – pencil Test Research on the origin of dance and the different kinds of dances. Physical Education and Health is taken only once a week with only one (1) hour per meeting. VI. REFLECTION A. No. of learners who earned 80% in the evaluation B.
