● To identify emerging trends and signals by 2050 that would affect the
Enterprise Risk.
● To be able to discuss trends and signal in the following categories:
Future of Work, Future of Workforce, Future of Human Resource, and
Future of Training and Development.
● To distinguish the implications of the trends and signal by 2050 in
Enterprise Risk.
TOPIC OVERVIEW
The emerging trends and signals included in this presentation were
based on the studies, and predictions of experts and researchers as to
what kind of work, workforce, human resource function, and training
and development we will have by 2050. Identifying these aspects of the
organization will significantly help determine its effects on Enterprise
Risk and provide insights on how automation and new strategies create
a significant role in the future.
Future of Work
❖ Workers in offices is radically changing our work. Workers in buildings
are run by the developer.
❖ Edge Technologies operate their workplace through an app.
❖ Experts says that the pace of change will accelerate as the next
generation of digital natives enters the workplace.
❖ Privacy is becoming more elusive.
❖ Growing numbers of people work in freelance or gig economy, without
such employer perks.
❖ By 2050, the office of the future might be unrecognizable.
Future of Workforce
❖ The survival of the most adaptable.
❖ The idea of continuous training is optimistic.
❖ Workers of the future will need to be highly adaptable and juggle three
or more different roles at a time.
❖ The factors affecting the composition and growth of the labor force in
the year 2050 is the stabilization of women’s labor force participation
rates.
❖ Employers could start recruiting labor from a global pool of freelancers
instead of traditional, full-time employees.
