Hospital Building, T-6 Basement.
Type of Mock Drill: Fire.
Duration of Mock Drill: 16 Minutes.
Type of Fire: General Fire.
Type of fire extinguisher used: ABC type.
Number of Fire extinguisher: ACIL/FE/38.
Conducted by: ACIL safety team & Site team.
Purpose: To check preparedness for Emergency and awareness for available
emergency facilities at site.
PART A: - (This has to be prepared and circulated to VP,Sr.GM & all section
incharge at least 48hrs. prior to conduct the mock drill).
Sequence Planned (Following headings to be addressed):










Identifying & reporting of emergency situation.
Respective communication and other information to all concerned regarding
emergency with respect to the situation for fire, personal injury, natural calamity.
Specify the action to be taken by emergency response team.
Assembly
Situation normalization. All clear message from spot.
Head count confirmation.
Briefing all concerned about the mock drill result.
All clear siren/ declaration.
Disbursement of gathering.
Resume the normal activity.
Reporting to all concerned.

At around 05.02 PM, Safety representative received a call from the site worker.
Regarding fire in hospital building T-6 basement.
At 05.07 PM, Site safety head received a call from site safety supervisor.
At 05.10 PM, Safety sup. Along with trained workers fire was extinguished.
At 05.11 PM, Ambulance reached at the location with the Noise of Siren.
At 05.12 PM, All workers got Instructions from their supervisors to Move from work
place to Assembly point.
At 05.13 PM, Confirm to Ambulance driver no any causality ,take the ambulance back
By 05.14 PM, Briefed the gathered mob it was a Mock drill and updated the preliminary
results of mock drill to gathered mob.
By 05.18 PM, Disbursement of gathering and resume the Normal Activity.

Overall Performance : Satisfactory
Mode of communication: Mobile Call

Duration of response: 16 Minutes.
Deviations: 1. Awareness level amongst the workers should be increased.
2. Emergency Control Room is not evident at site.
3. Some execution staff showed some low response in tower-6.
Suggestions for improvements :1. Conduct briefing just prior to fire drill
2. Such Drills helps workers to be aware for safety measures to be adopted in
emergency.
3. Assign role & responsibilities.
4. Conduct regular inspection of all fire extinguisher & bucket.
5. Ensure that the job supervisor should be present.
6. Always provide proper access to the all level.
7. Don’t keep in flammable material inside of the tower.
