What is It
Wow, wonderful! You did great! Then, let’s continue learning.
HOW TO TAKE CARE OF YOUR BODY
o Have a good complete sleep.
Doctors recommended sleeping for six to eight hours at night to let the body
regain the energy it used up for the different activities during day.
o Drink plenty of water
It is very important to our body. Water makes up about 60% of your body. It
also helps to regulate the functions of your organs. It can also give you
energy because water keeps you hydrated.
o Eat fruits and vegetables
Fruits and vegetables are healthy food for the body. They give your body
nutrients that boost your energy and keep your organs healthy and working
properly.
o Exercise regularly
Exercise is important in keeping a healthy body. Activities that make you
sweat help remove toxins from your body. Toxins can cause certain illnesses
if not released from the body. If you do not exercise regularly, you may
easily feel tired and more at risk of getting or developing a serious disease.
o Take a bath regularly.
Taking a bath regularly will keep your skin and hair clean and remove
bacteria, viruses, and other microorganisms that may cause illness.
o Keeps your hands and nails clean
keeping your hands and nails clean at all times can protect you from certain
diseases.
o Eat on time
Your organs need nutrients at the proper time to work well. Eating on time
helps you do your activities well and keeps you from getting sick.
o Say ''NO'' to smoking
It mainly affects the lungs and eventually makes breathing difficult.
Nicotine, which is the addictive component of cigarettes and other tobacco
products, also causes bad breath. The people who inhale the smoke, called
second-hand smokers, are more likely to get sick than those who actually
smoke.
o Say ''NO'' to alcohol
Drinking alcohol can damage your liver, brain, heart, and other major
organs and can cause hypertension.
o Say ''NO'' to drugs
Using illegal drugs can cause serious damage to your body organs,
especially the brain.
