1.With Windows 7 running and displayed on your computer, right click a blank
area of the desktop.
2.Click Personalize.

1.From the Personalization window, click Display Settings.
2.Drag the Resolution slider to the right for a higher resolution or to the left for a
lower resolution
3.Click the Colors drop-down list, and choose the color quality you want

1.Click Mouse Pointers.
2. Click the Scheme down arrow, and choose the scheme you want to use
3.If you want to customize a particular mouse pointer, select that pointer, click
Browse
4.Click OK to close the Mouse Properties dialog box
Activity 5. Add Windows Programs Icons
1.Click Personalize to open the Personalization window
2.Click the Change Desktop Icons in the Tasks pane on the left to open the
Desktop Icon
3. Click one to six icons that you want to have on the desktop
4. Click the icon and click Change Icon
5. Select the alternative you want and click OK
Activity 6. Change Desktop Icons
1.Right click a blank area of the desktop to open the context menu
2.Click View to open the View submenu
Activity 7. Resize Icons
1.Click each of the sizes to see which is best for you
