SUMMARY
Responsible for supervising the entire staff and managing all responsibilities pertaining
to the everyday functions of the Field Service Center as required.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may
be assigned.
Managing/Coordinating daily activities and functions such as:
o Must have a valid clean driving record and the ability to read maps and follow
directions.
o Receive all material and log in receipt register.
o Mark all received materials with identifying information.
o Notify persons/jobsites that material has arrived.
o Follow up with jobsite prior to deliveries to make sure nothing else needs to be
picked up or delivered and to make sure job clean up or deliveries can still be
done on scheduled date.
o Assist in material returns, exchanges and/or credits
o Prepare Poof of Delivery Documents
o Cross train in other FSC duties
o Produces inventory reports for All departments
o Assist Tool/Fleet Manager as assigned
o Assist with scheduling, pulling of material and tools for next day deliveries.
o Handles Incoming & Outgoing Couriers Requests
o Open bales, crates, and other containers
o Drives vehicle to transport stored items from warehouse to Jobsite or to pickup
items from several locations for shipment
o Verify packing slips with purchase order
o Assists in job clean offs and restock inventory
o Assist in afterhours emergency calls
o Assist in daily inter-office mail runs
o Organize Field Service Center
o Field Safety Scouts
o Cooperate Communications
The supervisor may assign such other duties from time to time.

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES & REQUIREMENTS
Directly supervises employees in the Field Service Center. Carries out supervisory
responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws.
Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning,
and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees;
addressing complaints and resolving problems.
QUALIFICATIONS REQUIREMENTS: To perform this job successfully, an individual
must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed

* Familiarity with bookkeeping, inventory control practices and logistics
* Comfortable using inventory management software and other organizational

* Physical strength, stamina and the ability to walk or stand for long periods of time
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or minimum of eight to ten
years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and
experience. Experience in operating a file storage maintenance system. Must have the
ability to operate a computer using Microsoft Office, outlook and general office
equipment.
LANGUAGE SKILLS
Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos.
Ability to write simple correspondence. Ability to effectively present information in oneon-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the
organization. Must be able to read, write and speak English fluently.
MATHEMATICAL SKILLS
Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers,
common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw
and interpret bar graphs.
REASONING ABILITY
Ability to apply commonsense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in
written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete
variables in standardized situations.

The work environment characteristics described here are representative of those an

While performing the duties of this job, the employee occasionally works near moving
mechanical parts and is occasionally exposed to fumes or airborne particles. The noise
level in the work environment is usually moderate. The job will consist of occasional job
site inspections. Proper safety attire must be worn/ i.e. work boots, hardhat, etc. Work
environment would be open to in climate weather conditions.
