ACT 4.4
• This study would use descriptive research design under quantitative research. The aim of
descriptive research design is to accurately and systematically describe a population, situation or
phenomenon (McCombes, 2019). The purpose of descriptive research is to discover associations
or relationships between or among selected variables and to answer questions based on the
ongoing events of the present (Dulock, 1993). We choose descriptive research because it
provides diverse data collection method, it allows to collect data in a natural environmental that
gives high-quality and honest data collection and it is easier to make a decision and go further for
data analysis.
ACT 4.5
• The respondents of this study are all ABM learners from Antipolo City Senior High School
enrolled in school year 2021-2022. Respondents will be chosen based on the impact of digital
modular distance learning whether it has helped them further persevere in learning or whether it
affect the respondents.
ACT 4.6
• A process of gathering data using a chosen research tool that consists of a sequence of
questions and prompts to elicit a response from the people to whom it is given. Google Form can
be used to gather information from a group of people.
To gather data from respondents we will use Google Form as our data collection tool.
- GOOGLE FORMS(G-FORMS)
Is free online software that allows you to create surveys, quizzes and it's part of
Google's web-based apps suite. The basic components of Google Form is composed of a title,
description and a list of form questions that you can use for your research. Google forms can
compile all the standard survey fields- such as text, multiple choice questions, drop-down, linear
scales and grids-to serve all sorts of data collection needs.

Research title:
EFFECTIVENESS OF DIGITAL MODULAR DISTANCE LEARNING MODALITY ON ABM LEARNERS
TO THEIR ACADEMIC PERFORMANCE
Dear Respondents,
The undersigned is currently taking Practical Research II. At present, we are conducting
a research study entitled Effectiveness of Digital Modular Distance Learning Modality on ABM
Learners to their Academic Performance.
In connection with this, we would like to ask for your participation by answering this
questionnaire. Rest assured that all data gathered will be treated with the utmost confidentiality.
Thank you very much and God bless.
Respectfully yours,
The Researchers

Comments and Suggestions on the Effectiveness of Digital Modular Distance Learning
Modality on ABM Learners to their Academic Performance
Answer:
ACT 4.9
• We gather to brainstorm, using our research instrument and the
Questionnaires approach, we might be able to come up with the data we've collected
with the results that most ABM Students answer to the survey, showing that distance
learning is difficult for them. At the same time, technology in education is distracting
them, and some students have issues managing their own time on a regular basis,
which impacts their academic performance in their class.
