TAXI DATABASE You have been contracted to develop a database for the taxi association at Kilimanjaro. The idea is to keep track of all TAXIs at the region, drivers of the tax and owners so that whenever there is a problem, it will make possibility to track the owner and driver. Because drivers are sometimes involved in accidents, the database should also be able to track the information about their next of kin. Required: identify entities, attributes (include description), relationships and keys. THEN draw the E-R Diagram considering relationship types, and multiplicity (cardinality & participation) 2. RESOURCE DATABASE The Directorate of ICT (DICT) is obligated to keeping track of all ICT equipment at the university. Also, the DICT is required to provide technical services at the university; whenever there is a fault at one office at the university, the DICT staff is assigned a task to go and troubleshoot the problem and report the status. You are contracted to design a DB that will help the directorate to attain these goals. Required: As Qn 1 3. STUDENT ACCOMODATION Consider you are contracted at the student dean’s office to develop a system that will keep track of student accommodation. That includes the student hostel and room, also the furniture found in a specific room. The database will track student dormitories name, capacity etc, room size, condition etc, and furniture status and MWECAU number to it. It is expected that the system will be able to say where (hostel & room for a student and furniture) is. Required: As Qn 1 1 4. HOSPITAL MANAGEMENT You are contracted by the Medical Officer Incharge (MOI) to design a database for MWECAU Hospital.
