They will talk about: What do you think the main reasons to be critically endangered? What is their population right now? Make a guess! T. introduces the following vocabulary through images. Endangered Population Weight Length Forests/Grasslands/Deserts Feet Pounds Students will visit the site Species List | Endangered, Vulnerable, and Threatened Animals | WWF (worldwildlife.org) and choose the 3 animals that they discussed about during the warm up. Each pair will receive a letter, for example, B, W, S. They will go back to the website and find an animal with the letter given. Ask students to create a presentation in Powerpoint/Animoto/Canva to convince more people to adopt or donate to save this endangered animal.
