PROCEDURE: A. Daily Routine 1. Greetings 2. Prayer 3. Classroom Management 4. Checking of Attendance 5. Class Agreement B. Review The teacher recalls the past lesson about sexual propagation. (Guess what? The student will to guess what is inside the box in the Power Point Presentation. The teacher also show raw seeds and will ask students. Guide questions: 1. What is our previous lesson? 2. How is seeds relate to our previous lesson? C. Motivation The teacher give three kinds of candy. Each student will to get candy and those who got the same candy will be of the same group. Then a blind folded representative from each group will get something from the box. Then he/she will share his/her imagination on the things he/she got. D. Presentation The teacher presents the new lesson by asking students. Guide questions: 1. What can you say about the things you have from the box? 2. What do these things have in common? 3. How do you use them in plant propagation? 4. Why is it important to know all these parts of plants in propagation technique? Then teacher present also the lesson objectives and Identification Test for the definition of terms. For those who got perfect they are rewarded. E. Discussion The teacher will discuss the new lesson (Asexual Propagation) by a Power Point Presentation. F. Application Activity 1: Tell me! (Group Activity).The teacher will show a video then ask the students. Guide questions: 1. What have you observed in the video? 2. What are the different materials used in the asexual propagation? 3. What are the different propagation techniques? 4. Which of the propagation techniques you think difficult to perform? Activity 2: Do this! (Group Activity). The teacher facilitate draw lots of the air layering, budding, and grafting propagation techniques for each group to perform. Their output will be rated using rubric. (The first to finish will be rewarded.) G. Generalization The teacher pass flower to the students as soon as she clap her hands while facing the board without seeing the students at the back. The students who got the flower will share summary of his/her learning of the lesson. IV. V. EVALUATION The teacher conduct a 10-item Presentation.
