MESSAGE FOR GRADUATION By Mary Ann L. Reario Greetings to everyone. I’m very pleased to have been invited to speak here today on what I know is a very special day. It’s special for the graduates, for their proud parents and grandparents, and for their very relieved teachers. It seems hard to believe. This school year started off at a sprint and it seems to have left many of us trying to catch our breath. As we looked forward to all the challenges that this pandemic lays ahead of us, it did appear a little daunting at times. Yet, despite all these challenges that we’re experiencing, there is a silver lining of hope. So, let us all be optimistic about this situation and be the light that radiates positivity to everyone. To the graduates, congratulations to all of you. Your hard work, patience and perseverance paid off. As this ceremony marks the end of the school year, it also paves way to a new chapter. Pupils, as you receive the certificate of graduation, which is a tangible evidence of completing a certain level of education, may this symbol of accomplishment and a fruit of every pupil’s endeavors, hard work and discipline inspire you to accomplish more. To the parents, I salute your unending love and support to your children. Dear parents, all of these wouldn’t be possible without your courage, exerting effort and patience in getting and submitting the modules, especially, that this school year has been tough for all of us. And finally, to the teachers, I take great pride in you. You have been an inspiration to everyone, the students, parents and the whole community. You are a great influencer to these pupils. Starting from the preparations and adjustments, as this pandemic makes it hard for us, you never failed to fight exhausting nights prepare your classrooms in accordance to the new normal, reproducing the modules, in retrieving and distributing modules and patience in checking the pupils SLMs. They may never know all of these, but seeing the fruit of our labor is enough to warm our hearts. As Edward Cummings said, “It takes courage to grow up and become who you really are.” So, never stop dreaming and never stop reaching your dreams.
