The software no longer displays The flange is considered for moment of inertia calculations
note when the flange is within the limit of 16*tn (22in) according to Figure 1-7-2. (TR-TX37543)
The software no longer sets Attached Shell Thickness to the flange thickness when no cylinder
is attached to it for an integral ring flange. (CR-TX-38998)
You can now define a shock scale factor of zero in the Y-direction for the Response Spectrum
seismic design code. (TR-TX-38537)
For conical heads, Offset Dimension is now active for angled or lateral nozzles. When you
define an offset dimension, the software automatically calculates the Distance From value.

The spring rate stiffness value now uses a conversion constant when using metric units for the
ASME TS Calc report. (TR-TX-37730)
Adjusted the value of Pj in the calculation of Req'd Half-Pipe Jacket Thickness to only consider
the jacket pressure. (TR-TX-37878)
Bellows calculations in CodeCalc now use the correct equation for the circumferential
membrane stress in the collar for un-reinforced bellows, according to Appendix 26-6.3.2. (TRTX-38011)
For very low shear stress load cases, the software sets the required tubesheet thickness to the
tube diameter and includes a warning. (TR-TX-37979)
Fixed and modified the equation substitution for Longitudinal Wind Force [Fl] to fit the correct
results in the Saddle Calcs: Operating Case report. (TR-TX-38203)
Removed a conservative extra weight added to each saddle to account for the difference
between the new metal weight and the corroded metal weight. (TR-TX-37681)
If the double rings pitch is less than the calculated h value according to Fig. 4.15.3(c), the
software treats the double rings as a single ring and use formulas (4.15.32) through (4.15.34) in
the Saddle Calculation report according to ASME Interpretation BPV VIII-2-20-04. (TR-TX38450)
Removed a nozzle layout warning when the nozzle is modeled on a cone and has no
obstruction in the Nozzle Calculation report. (TR-TX-38354)
Corrected the final MAPnc value of the shells and flanges in the Internal Pressure Calculations
and Nozzle Summary reports. (TR-TX-38693)
Changed when messages display on iterative calculations. Fixed a case with an overstress in
the first pass, but not in subsequent runs. The nozzle is not overstressed because the
software reduces the MAPnc value based on nozzle reinforcement, and no message
displays. (TR-TX-38527)
Nozzle torsional moment equations now match the results for the DeltaMz value in nozzle
EN 13445 calculations. (TR-TX-38615)
Both Long Joint & Circumferential Joint descriptions display independently from
selection of Weld is Pre-Heated. (TR-TX-38995)

When calculating Vh(ope), the software bases the value of Davg on the insulated OD of the
vessel. This applies to Vortex Shedding Loads in the Wind Calculation report according to
the NBC 1990 Supplement section. (TR-TX-38759)
Added the following note when the EQ load factor is negative: Neutral axis shift calculations
are not performed due to a low bending moment. (TR-TX-38433)
When you select a blind flange type in the Flange dialog, the input echo displays the
correct ID/OD reference. (TR-TX-39034)
When more than two saddles are attached, the software now calculates the Saddle Load as
the total vessel weight minus total weight of the saddles divided by the number of saddles.
(TR-TX-39144)
Fixed a formula substitution for the force acting on the Shell fs nozzle calculation to
eliminate a Divided by Zero warning. (TR-TX-39261)
The BOM Report now displays the same baffle thickness as the baffle input when in metric
units. (TR-TX-39237)
Dimension h now uses the vertical distance from the base of the leg to the center of the
support bracket. (CR-TX-39260)
Added the following note in the XY Coordinate Calculations report: PV Elite includes a 1/8
inch (3.175mm) raised face and gasket thicknesses for girth flanges and tubesheet thicknesses
where applicable in the tangent-to-tangent length calculation. The calculated dimensions are
based on the given element lengths. Due to variability in manufacturing (weld gaps etc.), the
tangent-to-tangent length may not be exact. (CR-TX-39335)
