To grow its market share, the company has thought of entering the UK market. The UK is also one of the

company is divided into various departments, and each is to make its own decisions but having the big
picture in mind. As per Winnubst (2017), the divisional structure has several advantages, including
simple decision-making. Because each department is free to decide on its terms if they are fit with the
company's mission and vision. The structure likewise simpler for departments do communicate each
other. The departments can set their respective individual goals and work plans.
Also, so that each department governs itself, the issues associated with the individual
departments are addressed. Winnubst (2017) goes on to say that the structure allows for significant
flexibility, which has worked the company well. The option allows the various departments to address
their market concerns independently. As per Winnubst (2017), in for a flat organizational structure to be
effective, techniques for organization sharing must be included. This sharing ensures that management
is aware of what each department is doing and how their efforts match the other for the interest of the
company.
Microsoft was made up of five sections: product development, support, research and
development, networking and operations, and retail. The company uses a horizontal management
landscape to ensure all these departments work in sync. Several intra-organizational processes, such as
an elaborate enterprise resource planning tool, help to support this. To facilitate communication, the
company also employs an intranet and other information systems. It is unclear if the company is organic
because employees have access to their superiors. This is also due to the organization structure's
strength.

So that, the fact that the company does not lay a focus on experience is inspiring, especially for
students as myself who would otherwise be limited by a low job experience, if any. I also like the how
company motivates its employees with both physical and emotional rewards. The physical rewards are
the previously mentioned 401K plans, comprehensive health insurance, and discounted shares, while
the emotional rewards, regardless of job position.
The company is also an excellent company so it allows its employees to develop in their careers.
As previously stated, the divisional structure allows everyone to assist in decision-making in their
respective departments. This instils in the staff a sense of responsibility for the company development.
