Prep com is one of the most prestigious committees in IIM Indore, and being a part of it is an opportunity to be proud about. I, Divyata
Jaiswal, believe that the Placement preparation committee is the one, that will best suit my interests, in a way that I can learn and
contribute to all my peers in IIM Indore.
I am a 2019 Btech graduate from IIT Guwahati, post which I have worked as a software engineer in Fidelity Investments. Working in the
technical client-facing role, and at the same time working for the product that my team owned, I believe that I have gained relevant
experience to play the role of a product manager.
Being a part of the prep com I can contribute to the knowledge base (specifically product management/ IT). As most of my peer group are
fresher I can help them with the key concepts and required necessary guidance, which they would lack. At the same time, I can learn
about the other domains about which I don’t possess in-depth knowledge, and get necessary guidance from senior prep com team
members thus leading to mutual benefits of both the entities involved to the fullest. Also, I will get an opportunity to design the NPADs
and primers of the incoming batch, adding my ideas to the already complete preparation material.
