This lesson focuses on strumming the C6 chord with downstrokes using your thumb or
index finger. Memorize the whole note (4 beats), half note (2 beats) and the quarter note (1 beat)

your first chords 1st Chords
A chord is 2 or more notes played at the same time. This lesson will teach you your 1st two chords,
the C7 and the Fadd9. Both of these chords are considered one-finger chords and you will
practice them using whole notes (4 beats), half note (2 beats) and the quarter notes (1 beat).
