This is one of our requirements that we need to accomplish in the coursework assessment for our course which is Information and Research Skills for Office Professionals (OBM301). In doing this assignment, we would like to thank our lecturer, Madam Erratul Shela binti Eshak because of her willingness to help us to complete this assignment and give a lot of guidelines to doing this assignment. Besides that, this ‘Annotated Bibliographies’ could not have been possible without all the participation of our team members. Finally, we are really grateful for cooperation from all our friends that help each other when we do not understand well and we are hoping that all our efforts and results to complete this assignment will satisfy our lecturer. 1 Downloaded by lilaccyca lv (fathiahfidaiy95@gmail.com) lOMoARcPSD|10367251 INTRODUCTION This assignment is intended to show how to make a bibliography citation for books, online databases and newspapers. Besides, in this assignment we used two types of citations which are American Psychological Association (APA) and Modern Language Association (MLA). An APA in-text citation includes the author’s last name and the publication year. If you’re quoting or paraphrasing a specific passage, you also add a page number. While an MLA in-text citation includes the author’s last name and a page number. MLA style provides writers with a system for cross-referencing their sources from their parenthetical references in-text citations. This cross-referencing system allows readers to locate the publication information of source material. Next, MLA puts a period at the end of all works cited entries while APA style is not added if the entry ends with URL or DOI. In a nutshell, this annotated bibliography is based on chapter 5 that we have learned which is bibliographic citation. Furthermore, by working on this “Annotated Bibliographies”, we have learned on how to identify the importance of citation and general information that issued in a citation. As a result, we can identify and cite references according to general rules in APA as well as MLA citation. 2 Downloaded by lilaccyca lv (fathiahfidaiy95@gmail.com) lOMoARcPSD|10367251 BOOK 1. Corporate executives in general, and production, accounting, finance, and marketing executives in particular, must be the frontline public relations and goodwill ambassadors for their businesses, goods, and services as representations of the corporation, its products, and services. We must also assess these corporate wrongdoings as objectively and ethically as feasible as scholars of business education. What is incorrect must be stated and denounced as such, while what is correct must be affirmed and accepted as such. We owe it to our students, profession, stakeholders, and the business world to do so. Alasdair MacIntyre (1981), a contemporary American philosopher, approaches the subject of morality as a three-part question: Who am I? Who should I aspire to be? What is the best way for me to get there? Every question is answered in terms of virtues, particularly corporate executive virtues. This chapter examines the qualities of corporate executives, particularly the classical cardinal virtues of prudence, temperance, fortitude, and justice, as they define and enhance corporate executive life. 7. Description: This curated collection looks at the connections between families, businesses, and regions, as well as how these connections affect regional economic and social growth. The fundamental motivation for this study is to assess what we now know about the intersection and cross-fertilization of family business and regional studies. This will allow us to identify new perspectives and study routes that will help to promote cross-fertilization between the two disciplines, as well as foresee and suggest future research lines. We investigate two issues that have received little attention: (1) What role do family businesses play in regional growth? (2) How do formal and informal regional environments influence the operations and success of family businesses? This edited collection aims to bridge the gap between theory and practise by bringing together economic, social, and political actors whose interactions at the local and regional levels are thought to be crucial to their success. 10 Downloaded by lilaccyca lv (fathiahfidaiy95@gmail.com) lOMoARcPSD|10367251 8. The aim of The Business of Gamification is to critically analyze the practical and theoretical consequences of gamification. The impact of gamification was soon evident to business practices where it had impact both on marketing and, more broadly, on the organizations themselves. This edited volume contains new, and stringent, perspectives on how gamification is contextualized in business settings, both in theory as well as in practice. As the number of individuals playing video games grows, there seem to be an acceptance of game mechanics elsewhere. As a result, this book will serve as a reference in curricula associated with video game development for years to come. 19 Downloaded by lilaccyca lv (fathiahfidaiy95@gmail.com) lOMoARcPSD|10367251 ARTICLE 1. Malaysia has a strong dynamic tree crop sector, such as oil palm, rubber, and cocoa, which is not only a global showcase but also a leader in the downstream processing of agricultural products such as oleochemicals, tyres, and gloves, according to World Bank Group lead agriculture economist Dr Aminesh Shrivastava, who spoke at the launch of the Malaysia Economic Monitor. "However, when you talk about a two-speed economy, the agri-food industry is far less active," Aminesh remarked. He added that the growth of Malaysia's agri-food strategy has resulted in a concentration on achieving self-sufficiency in rice farming and supply. Despite the fact that rice today accounts for less than 1% of household spending, this is the case. 15. Newspaper Title: Man jailed five years for having offensive weapon.
