Republic of the Philippines Department of Education REGION IV-A CALABARZON SCHOOLS DIVISION OF SANTA ROSA CITY DON JOSE INTEGRATED HIGH SCHOOL SAINT THADDEUS ST., BRGY. DON JOSE, CITY OF SANTA ROSA, LAGUNA May 06, 2021 Dear Sir/Madam, Greetings from Don Jose Integrated High School. Project Busog-Lusog is a School-Based Feeding Program of Don Jose Integrated High School and was launched last school year in July 2019. Our school has already been implementing feeding program since July 2015. This program aims to provide nourishment to learners with poor nutritional status, contribute to their academic performance, and enhance their health and nutritional values. For years of implementation of the program, it greatly helped the learners in sustaining their nutritional needs which lead them to improve academically. To strengthen the advocacies of the program, Project Busog-Lusog will be continuously implemented as an avenue to help the learners throughout the school year and the upcoming years as well. Teachers, student leaders, and parents are hand-in-hand with the support of school administrators and school head. Serving learners with nutritious meals becomes possible and financially sustained with the use of canteen fund allotment for the past years. But during this time of pandemic, schools are closed, learners are at home, and canteens are not operating resulting to absence of resources to sustain the needs of the program. Known for your keen interest in helping public school learners, we would like to invite you to be our program partner to meet the project’s goals. We believe that you could greatly help our learners and their families in extending hand with fruits, beans, rice, milk, eggs, root crops, oats/cereals/corn, or any contribution not only for them to be able to eat, but also to be able to boost their health to cope with the challenges of this pandemic. Don Jose Integrated High School will start distributing donations on May 17, 2021 (Monday). The school is open to receive the specified items for donations starting May 13, 2021 (Thursday).
