SCENE 1: AT HOME.
LITTLE RED CAP 1: What do you think we should do today?.
MOTHER 1: Well, I think we should do some baking. Make something
nice to eat.
FATHER 1: Sounds good.
LITTLE RED CAP 1: Oh, I’ll make some blueberry cakes.
MOTHER AND FATHER 1: It sounds perfect. Great idea, sweety!
LITTLE RED CAP 1: Yes, blueberry cakes. You remember, I learned
how to make them at school. You both like them, don’t you?
FATHER 1: You’re completly right, my love, and I’m sure Granny will
love them as well.
MOTHER 1: Oh, that’s such a thoughtful idea. Would you like to do
that, Red?
LITTLE RED CAP 1: I would love to, Mommy!
FATHER 1: Let’s do it!

- SCENE 2: LEAVING HOME.
NARRATOR 1: Once upon a time there lived a little girl who was much
loved by everyone, but most of all by her grandmother.
NARRATOR 2: Once, she made her a little cape of red velvet. It was
so lovely that the girl wanted to wear it all of the time, and so it was that
she became called “Little Red Riding Hood.”
NARRATOR 3: One day, the girl’s mother called for her.
MOTHER 1: Little Red Riding Hood, here is a basket with some cakes
and a flask of wine for you to take to your grandmother. She is weak
and ill, and they will make her strong.
LITTLE RED CAP 1: Yes, mother!
MOTHER 1: You’d better start off now before it gets too hot. And when
you’re in the woods, be sure to stay on the path.
LITTLE RED CAP 1: Yes, mother! (She starts to leave.)
MOTHER 1: Don’t run or you might fall and break the flask of wine and
there’ll be none left for your grandmother.
LITTLE RED CAP 1: Yes, mother. (Still trying to leave.)
MOTHER 1: And when you go into her room, don’t forget to say “Good
morning.”
LITTLE RED CAP 1: Yes, mother.
MOTHER 1: And don’t go poking into all the corners of the house.
LITTLE RED CAP 1: I’ll do just as you say. May I go now, Mother?.
NARRATOR 4: Her mother nodded and Little Red Riding Hood set off
on the path. Her grandmother lived deep in the woods about a half
hour walk from the village.

- SCENE 3:
NARRATOR 1: No sooner had Little Red Riding Hood set foot in the
forest than she met the Wolf.
NARRATOR 2: Little Red Riding Hood had no idea what a wicked
beast he was, so she did not feel frightened.
WOLF 1: Good day, little girl, pleasure to meet you.
LITTLE RED CAP 1: You too, Mr. Wolf.
WOLF 1: Where are you going so early, Little Red Riding Hood?
LITTLE RED CAP 1: To my grandmother’s house.
WOLF 1: What are you carrying in your basket?
LITTLE RED CAP 1: Some cakes and wine. We baked yesterday for
my grandmother. She is very weak and ill, so they will make her strong.
WOLF 1: Where does your grandmother live, Little Red Riding Hood?
LITTLE RED CAP 1: A short walk from here. Her house stands
beneath the three oak trees near the hazel bushes.
NARRATOR 3: The wolf thought to himself, “That tender young thing
will be a delicious snack and would taste way better than the old
grandmother. If I’m really crafty, I will get them both!”
NARRATOR 4: The wolf walked beside Little Red Riding Hood for a
while, but she didn’t notice he was following her.
5
- SCENE 4: THE FLOWERS.
NARRATOR 1: After a while Little Red Riding Hood decided to take a
break from all the walking, because she’s feeling a little tired.
NARRATOR 2: She found a beautiful place inside the woods with a lot
of different flower species, so she decided to rest there.
NARRATOR 3: As soon as she sat down, she felt like something near
her started to move.
NARRATOR 4: She got a little scared but immediately a beautiful and
deliciously scented flower told her…
FLOWER 1: Well, hello, young lady, my name is Bloomie. Are you ok?
LITTLE RED CAP 1: Oh, hi! I’m fine, thank you. It’s just that I got a
little tired walking, I’m going to visit my grandmother. She’s a little sick.
FLOWER 2: You’re a great granddaughter; she will appreciate it so
much. By the way, my name is Tulipee.
FLOWER 1: What’s on your basket little red?
LITTLE RED CAP 1: Some cakes and a flask of wine for my granny.
FLOWER 2: You must be aware, there’s a lot of danger in the woods,
but let me give you something to protect you.
LITTLE RED CAP 1: I’m not afraid of anything, but I’m sure you will
help me feel braver!
FLOWER 1: You only have to close your eyes and let us do the work!

------------- MUSICAL 3 “FLOWER POWER/SUGAR SUGAR” ----------.
NARRATOR 1: Little Red did as she was told.
NARRATOR 2: The two flowers gave Little Red a little flower in a
shape of a cup.
NARRATOR 3: Little red drank the delicious tea they offered her
knowing from now on she would be protected in the forest.
NARRATOR 4: Little red continued her way to Granny’s house, but
suddenly the Wolf appeared again.
7
- SCENE 5: AT GRANNY’S HOUSE.
WOLF 1: Have you noticed the beautiful flowers all around? You are
walking so quickly, I don’t think you have even heard how sweetly the
birds are singing. You are walking so quickly, it’s as if you were going
to school, and it’s so delightful here in the woods.
LITTLE RED CAP 1: You may be right, Mr. Wolf. If I were to take fresh
flowers to my grandmother, she would be very pleased. It’s still early,
and I have plenty of time.
NARRATOR 1: And so she ran into the woods, looking for flowers. As
soon as she picked one, she spotted an even more beautiful one. And
so she went even deeper into the woods again.
NARRATOR 2: Meanwhile, the wolf ran straight to her grandmother’s
house and knocked on the door.
GRANDMOTHER: Who is it?
WOLF 1: It’s my Grandma. I’ve brought some cakes and wine. Open
the door.
GRANDMOTHER: Just lift the latch. I’m too weak to get up.
NARRATOR 3: So the wolf lifted the latch and the door flew open. He
fell upon the grandmother and ate her up without saying a word. Then
he put on her clothes, put on her cap, drew the curtains and lay down
in her bed.
NARRATOR 4: Little Red Riding Hood was running around looking for
flowers when she suddenly remembered her grandmother and got
back on the path leading to her house.
8
- SCENE 6: GRANNY IS THAT YOU?
NARRATOR 1-2: When Little Red arrived at the house, she was
surprised to see the door was open, and when she stepped inside, she
felt very strange. She called out to her grandmother.
LITTLE RED CAP 2: GOOOD MOOOOORNING, GRANDMAAAAAA.
NARRATOR 2:-2 But there was no answer.
NARRATOR 3-2: Little Red Riding Hood went over to the window and
drew back the curtains. She saw her grandmother in bed with her cap
pulled down.
LITTLE RED CAP 2: Oh, Grandmother, what large ears you’ve got!
WOLF 2: The better to hear you with.
LITTLE RED CAP 2: Oh, Grandmother, what great eyes you’ve got!
WOLF 2: The better to see you with.
LITTLE RED CAP 2: But, Grandmother, what a terrible, large mouth
you’ve got!
WOLF 2: The better to taste all of the delicious cakes you bring to me.
LITTLE RED CAP 2: And your teeth, they are big and sharp.
WOLF 2: The better to eat you with!
NARRATOR 4-2: No sooner had he said the words than he leaped out
of bed and swallowed up poor Little Red Riding Hood in one bite!
9
- SCENE 7: WHERE’S GRANNY & LITTLE RED?.
NARRATOR 1-2: The wolf was full, he lay down on the bed, fell
aspleep and began to snore very loudly.
NARRATOR 2-2: At that moment, a hunter was passing by.
HUNTER: Oh, how the old woman snores. I’d better see if there is
anything wrong with her.
NARRATOR 3-2: He went into the house and saw the wolf lying in the
bed.
HUNTER: HAAAAAAH! You think I’m a fool? At last I find you, you old
beast! I’ve been looking for you for a long time.
NARRATOR 4-2: The huntsman suspected that the wolf may have
swallowed the grandmother whole and that she might still be alive. He
made the wolf vomit and suddenly out popped Little Red Riding Hood
and her granny.
GRANDMOTHER: Oh, dear, how frightened I’ve been! It’s awfully dark
inside the wolf.
LITTLE RED CAP 2: Woooah, what a horrible breath he has!
NARRATOR 1-2: The three of them laughed hard at little Red’s
comment. They were very pleased.
NARRATOR 2-2: The grandmother ate the cakes and gave some to
the Hunter for saving their lives. She also drank the wine.
HUNTER: Thank you so much, old lady. I appreciate it so much. Now I
have to go. I need to take this wolf out in the woods again, but let me
tell you something: he will never be around again.
GRANDMOTHER: Thank you, Sir. Thank you so much, Little Red It’s
time to go back home.
LITTLE RED CAP 2: That’s right, Grandma. I’ll never wander in the
woods alone again, and I will always listen to what my mother tells me.
10
- SCENE 8: VISITING GRANDMA AGAIN.
NARRATOR 3-2: It should also be mentioned that, a few days later,
Little Red Riding Hood was again taking cakes to her grandmother
when she came across another wolf.
WOLF 2: Well, hello there, little girl. Where are you going?
LITTLE RED CAP 2: I’d prefer not to say.
WOLF 2: Well, then good day.
LITTLE RED CAP 2: Good day, Mr. Wolf.
NARRATOR 4-2: When she got to her grandmother’s house, she told
her that a wolf had been on the path.
GRANDMOTHER: Come along. We’ll shut the door so that he may not
get in.
NARRATOR 1-2: Soon after, the new wolf came knocking at the door.
WOLF 2: Open the door, Grandmother. I’m Little Red Riding Hood
bringing you cakes.
NARRATOR 2-2: But Little Red Riding Hood and her grandmother
remained quiet and still and did not open the door.
NARRATOR 3-2: But the wolf slunk by the house and climbed up on
the roof and waited.
GRANDMOTHER: He’s probably waiting for you to come along so that
he can get you.
LITTLE RED CAP 2: What should we do? .
GRANDMOTHER: I was boiling sausages earlier. Let’s take the bucket
and carry it to him, let’s offer him a delicious hot dog.
11
NARRATOR 4-2: So Little Red Riding Hood did as she was told. She
offered a delicious sausage and hot dogs to the wolf, and he accepted.
At the same time, the Hunter was passing by, and they invited him to
eat.
NARRATOR 1-2: The Wolf realized it was better being friends with
Little Red and Grandma. They would always give him food, and he will
never need to eat anyone again.
LITTLE RED CAP 2: It’s time to go home, Grandma.
GRANDMOTHER: You’re right, my love, go home.
HUNTER: Let me take you home, Little Red. I want to be sure you’re
getting home completely safe.
WOLF 2: Let me go with you, too. I promise I’ll never try to eat
anybody again.
ALL TOGETHER: YAAAAAY!
NARRATOR 2-2: They went all together to Little Red’s house,
dancing, and laughing together. Finally, the woods were a good and
safe place for Little Red to be…
