Developmental Activities 1. Presentation: Today, children, we will continue to discuss the sequence of numbers, in the way of reading and writing from 100 to1000. Little reminder children to listen and focus on what I discuss now because there will be a short quiz after the discussion. Let us start counting and spelling with numbers starting from 100 up to1000. I will play and start the PowerPoint presentation about whole numbers from 100 to 1000 and ask random children to read louder and repeat the word that will I be going to say. It is possible that a student will not be able to read or speak, in this case, the teacher will take extra time and give more examples. The teacher will speak in a loud voice and give more clarity to the word being pronounced to help students remember the words, if there is a chance to repeat, the teacher will do it. (The teacher can also give a tune while counting numbers to catch the attention of the students) Response: All the children will listen carefully and focus their eyes on the presentation and repeat what the teacher says. 2. Performing the Activity: Okay, children do you have already basic knowledge on how to properly read and write numbers in word form? (If there are students who will answer with a no, the teacher will give them another set of examples or activities to make sure that all children will follow the flow of the topic.) I will be writing different numbers on the board and Children will raise their hands to read loud and proper, write the answer on the board of the given number in a word form or numeral form. Are you ready Children? 1. 109 -____________ _______ - two hundred fifty _______ - three hundred seventy 4. 589 - _____________ 5. 999 -_____________ Children, do you want to know more about this? Response: Yes, I know Teacher (loud and jolly voice) (half of the class) No Teacher! (Participation and recitation) Yes, Teacher! (Most of the children will raise their hands to answer on the board). Yes please, Teacher! Proceed to the next set of activities (Connect them to the correct number this will be more level up matching type and give them a chance to Group themselves or find a partner answer the next activity which about the fill-in missing thenumbers this will be harder than the first one) 3.Processing of the Activity: Post the activity that needs to connect the correct numbers to the other word or numerical form. (Children will make participate and recite by raising their hand to match and connect the dot to the right number). CONNECT US CORRECTLY 100 Two hundred 900 Eight hundred 200 Six Hundred 800 One Hundred 1000 Nine hundred 600 Five Hundred 700 Four Hundred 300 One Thousand 500 Seven Hundred 400 Three Hundred 4.
