1.1 3.2 Attainment of Course Outcomes
1.1.1 3.2.1 Describe the Assessment Processes Used to Gather the Data
upon which the Evaluation of Course Outcome is Based (10)
The Course Outcomes (COs), Program Outcomes (POs) and Program Specific Outcomes
(PSOs) are assessed through assessment tools formatted by the Department based on the
Direct and Indirect methods of assessment. The Course Outcomes are listed for each of the
courses at the beginning of the semester. Before starting any new course and a chapter, the
related course outcomes are explained to the students. The mapping of Course outcomes and
Program outcomes are done for each courses and recorded. Similarly mapping of Course
outcomes and Program Specific outcomes are done for each courses and recorded.
