The learner demonstrates understanding of the key concepts of parallel and perpendicular lines.
Performance Standard:
The learner is able to communicate mathematical thinking with coherence and clarity in solving
real-life problems involving parallelism and perpendicularity using appropriate and accurate
representations.

OBJECTIVES/LEARNING COMPETENCY:
A. Define a quadrilaterals and classify each.
B. Determines the conditions that make the quadrilateral a parallelogram.
C. Work in group harmoniously.

PROCEDURE:
A. Review
1. What is parallelism and perpendicularity?
2. Differentiate parallel lines and perpendicular lines
B. Motivation
Localization
The students will look around the classroom and identify the shapes or figures
that they have seen
They will name the things inside the classroom that represents rectangle,
squares and other shapes that they have mention.
C. Presentation of the Lesson
Present the objectives of the lesson
D. Discussion
The teacher will let the learners define Quadrilaterals. Let them enumerate
and differentiate the kinds of quadrilaterals
E. Activity 1: Group work
The class will be divided into four groups. Each group will select a leader and
a secretary for a group discussion. They will do the given activity (Refer to
Attachment 1)

F. Analysis
Activity 2: HIDE and SEEK
The group will perform Activity 2, and present their output (Refer
Attachment 2)
G. Abstraction
The teacher will ask the learners about their significant learning in the
lesson
H. Application
Activity 3: What am I?
The group will work activity 3. (Refer to Attachment 3.)
