Champagne Deutz
Deutz is an outstanding if discreet Champagne house based in the historic town of Ay, founded in 1838
by William Deutz. Deutz Champagne is available at The Champagne Company and is formerly known as
Deutz Geldermann.
It is made by blending Pinot Noir and Chardonnay fruit with top quality still. Pinot Noir wine from a
unique plot of vines, rather than the saignée method. Davesne prefers this technique because he
believes it maintains elegance and color consistency. Moreover, Champagne Deutz Brut Rosé is
produced from approximately 90% Pinot Noir grapes grown on Montage de Reims, and 10% consists of
Chardonnay.
