Project General Description Project Location Project Location Dam is located in Desa Leuwidamar and Pasir Kopo Dam, It will overcome 30 Kampung in 5 villages i.e. Desa Leuwidamar, Sankangwangi, Margawangi, Cisimeut, Cisimeut Raya and Nayagati. Potential Benefits Project Background The benefits of Pasir Kopo Dam are a reservoir of excess water in rainy season and for the supply of irrigation water to maintain and increase crop production and intensity in drought season. More over, Pasir Kopo dam is intended to supply household raw water needs, as well as for water conservation. Specifically the Pasir Kopo Dam have benefits i.e Serang Regency Raw Water, 0.5 m3/sec; Tangerang Regency Raw Water: 3.3 m3/sec; Ciujung Irrigation Water : 3.2m3/sec, and Hydropower potential of 2x 10.75 MW 2.2 Project Description Along with regional development and various kind of infrastructure needs, one of which is to control flood, raw water supply, and electricity sources. Therefore, according to the JICA study in 1995, several dams that had been planned were important to obtain attention and have to be followed up immediately Pasir Kopo Dam in Cisimeut River (Ciujung River Basin), Cilawang Dam (Cidurian River Basin), Tanjung Dam in Cidurian River (Cidurian River Basin). The dam alternative site plan is located in Kampung Lebak Masigit, Desa Leuwidawar, Kecamatan Leuwidamar, Lebak Regency. Access road to the location can be reached by car from Serang, the capital city of Banten Province to Rangkasbitung, the capital city of Lebak Regency with a distance 41 km, then head to Kecamatan Leuwidamar with a distance 21 km.
