Background
Mary Flores (better known by the name
Ve Neill) is a self-taught makeup artist.
She began her makeup career as a rock
n’ roll stylist and costume designer but
transitioned into a full time special
effects makeup artist. She specializes in
creating innovative and iconic concepts
and has executed the looks in such a
way that has set a high standard of
excellence in the makeup world.
Her Inspirations
Neill used to watch monster movies as a child and was influenced by Leo Lolito,
her neighbor who happened to be a makeup artist

Ve Neill is currently a Director of Education at Cinema Makeup School in L.A. She
is also a judge on the fantasy and sci-fi makeup show Face Off on Syfy.
Why I chose Ve Neill
I chose Ve Neill because her work creating beloved characters in American films
has inspired me to expand my artistic horizons and venture into the realm of
cinematic makeup.
