1.
1. Regarding Students attendance:
Faculties were asked to jot down the names of irregular students with very poor attendance.
Strategies were discussed to improve their attendance in classes. It was decided that these students
were counseled by class coordinators and subject teachers and regular follow up will be taken from
their guardians
2. Regarding letter dispatch to defaulters:
For those students to whom teachers cant contact due unavailability of contact number it was
instructed to dispatch a letter to them so that parents can be informed with the attendance and
performance in examinations.
3. Regarding lab and theory syllabus completion:
A report was taken regarding completion of syllabus and laboratory session till date. It was suggested
to all the syllabus shall be completed before 20th January 2021 If there is a need of extra class from
faculties the time table will be changed accordingly.
4. Regarding revision classes for students:
It was instructed to all faculties to start revision of units along with syllabus completion. It was
suggested that important question shall be given daily to students to write and a strict follow up shall
be taken with weak students regularly.
5. Regarding practical sessional examination:
Practical sessional exams shall be conducted from upcoming week (from 8 th April onwards).
6. Regarding carryover sessional examination:
As per AKTU/PCI ordinance it is necessary to conduct carry over sessional examination for second
year student who have carryover paper in any subject of second semester. It was decided that on
Saturday 20th Carryover exam will be conductd for these students. meanwhile a syllabus will be
announced among the students so that they can prepare.
